Dr. Joseph A. Bordieri
Dr. Joe Bordieri, ‘Dr. B’, is a New Jersey native. He was born at the Jersey shore and has lived most of his life in New Jersey. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology with Honors from Moravian college and then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine (now Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine). He completed his Family Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Healthcare System’s Union Hospital where he also served as the Chief Resident and was Resident of the Year two years in a row. He is board-certified in Family Practice by the ACOFP. Dr. Bordieri has been practicing in Jamesburg with Dr. Newman since 2004. Dr. Bordieri is committed to providing the best care to his patients. He prides himself on providing the latest in evidence-based preventative care for patients as well as care for a broad range of acute and chronic problems including: hypertension, acute respiratory infections, diabetes, back pain, sports injuries, urinary tract infections, hypercholesterolemia, heart disease, thyroid disease, and asthma.
In addition to being a diligent physician, Dr. Bordieri is also an avid endurance athlete and seasoned traveler. He is a four-time IRONMAN finisher and regularly competes in triathlons and marathons. He has hiked in many of our country’s national parks and has been to several countries around the world. He is especially interested in exercise for maintaining proper health. He works with patients to help them find the proper balance of exercise and nutrition to maintain an active and productive lifestyle for many years to come.
In addition to seeing patients in the office setting he also cares for patient in the acute inpatient setting at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick as well as in the subacute setting at several local rehabilitation centers.
